John Kaites has broad expertise and experience in both the public and private sectors and owns numerous profitable companies, including Public Policy Partners, Avant Strategies, Business 2 Government, Procurement Partners and P3, LLC.

He is also a partner in the law firm of Ridenour, Hienton, and Lewis in Phoenix, Arizona. Mr. Kaites is a former Arizona state senator and state representative.

He began his legal career in 1989 as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Arizona in the Organized Crime and Racketeering Division and the Environmental Crimes Section. Mr. Kaites also worked as a prosecutor for the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office. He then served three terms in the Arizona Legislature.

During his tenure in the Arizona Legislature, Mr. Kaites was the Chairman of the Judiciary Committee and the Chairman of the Banking and Insurance Committee. He authored and was instrumental in passing the Securities Litigation Reform Act, Interstate Banking & Branching Act, and The Privilege of Self Critical Analysis for Products Liability Act.

Mr. Kaites also sponsored the final draft rewrites of the Arizona Criminal Code and the Arizona Juvenile Justice Code.

Mr. Kaites is a graduate of Allegheny College in Meadville, Pennsylvania and Duquesne University School of Law in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and a member of the Arizona State Bar.
